Caleb was the catalyst in a brand-new staging of William Schuman’s baseball opera, “The Mighty Casey" setting the story in the world of the women’s baseball league in the 1940’s.

Caleb is the only person to perform Cimarosa’s one-man opera “Il maestro di cappella” as both conductor and baritone soloist. He recently performed it after collaborating on a new English/Italian libretto.

In collaboration with The Why Collective, Caleb is spearheading a first-ever double bill of Jake Heggie’s Another Sunrise and Handel’s Judas Maccabeus. Read more here.

Caleb partnered with director Alison Pogorelc and countertenor Chuanyuan Liu to record Vivaldi’s “Longe mala, umbrae, terrores” to accompany this short film produced by the Milwaukee-based company.

In 2020, Caleb wrote a micro-opera with Emily Gallagher, librettist. The piece ended up as a part of the Opera Harmony Festival, which premiered on OperaVision.

After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Caleb helped initiate a musical project including the opera studios of several houses around the world to present selections from Lyatoshynsky’s “Golden Crown.”

For three years in Cincinnati, Caleb performed as an Artist-in-Residence with TTSL. This included monthly concerts with unique programming alongside several other artists. He performed from the piano, on violin, flute, and as a baritone soloist.
